Mathilde is the founding Executive Director of Transform Health (TH) and leads the secretariat. TH is a multi-sector coalition that sets out to harness digital technology and data to accelerate progress towards universal health coverage (UHC). The coalition brings together governments, private sector and civil society to influence and create a better enabling environment for digital health transformation. TH has grown from a core network of 7 members to a network of more than 150+ organizations nationally, regionally and globally, with the set up of national coalitions in 6 priority countries (Ecuador, Indonesia, India, Kenya, Mexico and Senegal) and close collaboration with regional networks in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Mathilde is a seasoned advocate with experience bringing partners and networks together to deliver on global agendas. Her career spans over 15 years living in Asia, East Africa, Europe, and currently San Francisco. She is a board member of ‘Young Experts: Tech for Health’ and HealthAI (former I-DAIR) that tackle topics such as responsible AI and digital health inclusion/meaningful youth engagement.

She also represents TH as a member of the UHC2030 Task Force and the UNITE Parliamentary Network on Global Health. She is a passionate champion of women’s digital/data rights, inclusion and representation.

+ Seasoned health advocate: broad understanding of policy and political issues as relates to global health, digital health, and health data governance.

+ Fundraiser: managed large grant portfolios, designed innovative grant products and successfully raised multi-million dollar funding.

+ Leader & team player: Proven leadership skills in organisation- and team management from developing and supporting staff and representing team interest to senior leadership/board of directors to setting long-term vision and overseeing implementation, financial management and reporting.

+ Multilingual: fluency in English, Swedish and proficiency in Swahili, German and basic French.
