Autonomous, driven and fast-learning Research Engineer with two Master’s degrees and professional experience in AI startups. Passionate about dedicating my AI skills to Social Good and Humanitarian causes.
Some projects I worked on leveraged NLP (Detecting online verbal abuse against women), other Computer Vision and Image classification (Quantifying human rights abuse from satellite imagery). I collaborated with NGOs (Amnesty International), University professors and technical teams.
On my free time, I work on reducing inequalities by creating incentives to dedicate time and resources to underserved communities and solve high-impact problems.
I also spend time researching how the ML community can adopt better engineering practices and overcome the Reproducibility crisis it is facing.
