Cyrus Hodes

With over 30 years of experience in strategy, international relations, and entrepreneurship, I am passionate about creating and promoting safe and beneficial emerging technologies and policies. After having co-founded Stability AI, I co-founded AIGC Chain, a multimodal generative AI platform that leverages blockchain technology to bring a responsible approach to the new wave of transformative AI. I also contribute to VALDI, a web3 layer1 for cloud computing and distributed machine learning that utilizes idle computational resources to achieve cost savings and support ESG initiatives.

As a member of the Global Partnership on AI, I serve on the Climate Change & Biodiversity and Agriculture & Farming committees, where I collaborate with experts and stakeholders from various sectors and regions to guide the responsible development and use of AI, grounded in human rights, inclusion, diversity, innovation, and economic growth.

I hold a Master in Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School, a Master in Defense, Geostrategy & Industrial Dynamics from Université Panthéon Assas, and studied (and subsequently taught) International Relations at Sciences Po Paris.
