Responsible Generative AI Leadership Summit

Responsible Generative AI Leadership Summit is a cross industry/academic bilateral summit focused on Responsible AI approaches that can lead to principled, practical, and scalable solutions, thereby enabling AI to do good and prevent harm. The first edition of this summit named The “Responsible AI Leadership: A Global Summit on Generative AI” was jointly hosted by AI Commons and the World Economic Forum in April 2023. The summit gathered both academic and industry experts as well as civil society and policymakers in developing and governing generative AI systems responsibly. Over 100 thought leaders and practitioners participated, proposing key recommendations for responsible development and release of AI systems, open innovation platforms, and needed social progress accompanying AI developments.

The outcome of this gathering led to the Presidio_Recommendations_on_Responsible_Generative_AI_2023, a 30 action-oriented recommendations gathered during the summit to help navigate the complexity of scaling generative AI solutions and to shape a more innovative, equitable, and prosperous future while mitigating risks.
